2. Purpose and scope

This legal notice governs access to and use of the website retroboxmodem.com (the "Site"), through which MAGIC BROS SL provides information about the RetroBox Modem project, a Wi-Fi AT-compatible modem for retro computers, as well as about a related book on the history of BBS systems.

As of the date of publication, the Site is in a pre-launch stage: no orders or payments are processed through it. The only action available to visitors is subscribing to a mailing list to receive project updates and, where applicable, information about the Founders Offer described on the Site.

Accessing the Site and, where applicable, subscribing to the mailing list grants the status of user of the Site (the "User") and implies full acceptance of the terms set out in this legal notice.

3. Access and use conditions

Access to the Site is free of charge and does not require prior registration, except for voluntary subscription to the mailing list. The User agrees to make appropriate and lawful use of the Site, in accordance with applicable law, good faith and public order, and to refrain from:

Using the Site for fraudulent, unlawful purposes or purposes contrary to this legal notice.
Introducing or spreading computer viruses or any other physical or logical system liable to damage the Site, its content or third-party systems.
Attempting to access restricted areas of MAGIC BROS SL's or third parties' computer systems.
Impersonating another person or providing false information when subscribing to the mailing list.

4. Intellectual and industrial property

The name "RetroBox Modem", its logo, the Site's design, text, images, illustrations, source code and other content accessible through it belong to MAGIC BROS SL or to third parties who have authorised their use, and are protected under Spanish and European Union intellectual and industrial property law.

Reproduction, distribution, public communication, transformation or any other form of exploitation, in whole or in part, of the Site's content is prohibited without the prior written authorisation of MAGIC BROS SL, except where expressly permitted by law.

The phrase "AT compatible" describes RetroBox Modem's compatibility with the classic AT command set and does not imply affiliation, sponsorship or endorsement by any modem manufacturer. Product names and trademarks mentioned on the Site belong to their respective owners.

5. Disclaimer of warranties and liability

MAGIC BROS SL reserves the right to modify, update or withdraw, without prior notice, the information contained on the Site, as well as its design and access conditions. The Site describes a product and a publishing project under development; the technical specifications, timelines, prices and availability conditions mentioned are indicative and subject to change before launch.

MAGIC BROS SL does not guarantee the absence of errors in accessing the Site or its content, nor that it will always be up to date, although it will use reasonable means to avoid such errors and, where applicable, to correct or update the Site as soon as possible.

6. Links to third-party sites

The Site may include links to third-party websites, such as the RetroBox Modem YouTube channel. These links are provided for informational purposes only. MAGIC BROS SL assumes no responsibility for the content, privacy policies or practices of any third-party websites that may be accessed through such links.

7. Personal data protection

The processing of personal data provided through the Site, in particular when subscribing to the mailing list or writing to the contact address, is governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of this legal notice.

8. Governing law and jurisdiction

This legal notice is governed by Spanish law. Any dispute arising from access to or use of the Site shall be submitted to the Courts and Tribunals of Madrid (Spain), unless applicable consumer protection law establishes a different, mandatory venue.
